Terms of Service

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are personal to the individual or business that registered them and may not be sold, transferred, or shared.

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Harass, threaten, defame, or abuse another user, including through messages, job postings, or profile content.
• Solicit users for purposes unrelated to legitimate employment (including but not limited to romantic solicitation, unrelated sales pitches, scams, or requests for money).
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings, company information, or candidate information.
• Attempt to circumvent the Platform's subscription, payment, or posting-limit systems.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Platform without our written permission.
• Upload malicious files, attempt to compromise Platform security, or interfere with other users' access to the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any account — job seeker or employer — that we reasonably believe has violated these Terms, including but not limited to the conduct described in Section 2.

• Suspension or termination may occur without prior notice where we believe it is necessary to protect other users or the integrity of the Platform.
• If your account is suspended or terminated for violating these Terms, any subscription fees, listing fees, or other payments already made to us are non-refundable, in whole or in part.
• We may, but are not obligated to, provide a reason for suspension or termination.
• You may appeal a suspension by contacting us at support@islandgigsag.com; we will review appeals at our discretion.

• Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job postings, including salary information, job requirements, and company details.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any job listing, candidate profile, or message content, and we are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the Platform.
• We may remove any listing or content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law, at our discretion.

• Messages sent through the Platform should relate to legitimate recruitment and employment purposes.
• You may block another user at any time; blocking prevents that user from sending you further messages.
• We may review reported messages for violations of these Terms but do not actively monitor all message content.

• Employer subscription fees and one-time job posting fees are described on the Platform at the time of purchase and are processed through our payment provider, Stripe.
• Except as required by law or as otherwise stated in these Terms, all fees are non-refundable, including in cases of account suspension or termination for violation of these Terms.
• We may change our pricing at any time; changes will apply to future billing periods or purchases, not retroactively.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. We do not verify the identity, qualifications, or intentions of employers or job seekers beyond the account verification steps described on the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IslandGigs and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to employment decisions, hiring outcomes, or interactions between users.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Antigua and Barbuda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
